CLOUD BOAT - “YOUTHERN” (GHOSTING SEASON REMIX)
Back to some electronic music or at least a sort of hybrid. Some of you might know Cloud Boat and their rather nostalgic, postrock-influenced approach in music production (aka falsetto meets tremolo guitar with tons of reverb). However, in this version Ghosting Season (in fact, they do sound ghostly) give “Youthern” a new touch. Have a listen!
GHOSTPOET - “MELTDOWN”
After listening to the album it’s not hard to guess why this was chosen as the first single. Probably the catchiest track on “Some Say I So I Say Light”, which sees Ghostpoet smoothly flow and rhyme on rather experimental beats and random sounds.
JOHN ROBERTS - “SHOES”
Off his new album “Fences” on Dial Records, home to other Favorites like Pantha Du Prince, Efdemin, Phantom Ghost and Isolée. This will most likely appeal to people who are more into sound design, moody atmosphere and ambient-like arrangements.
TRICKY - “FORGET” (FEAT FIFI RONG)
The new EP by Tricky is…well, … kind of tricky. I guess most fans will not be too satisfied. However, it might leave you with mixed feelings. No matter what, “Forget” is as cute as it gets.
GHOST DANCER Mix PT. II
The second part of my favorite work so far. I envisioned it to be a haunting journey. Judge for yourself whether or not I did succeed on my mission.
As usual I will not reveal a track list. There is quite a few unreleased tracks in there, some old goodies and most of it rather recent tracks that caught my attention.
HIDDEN ORCHESTRA - “SPOKEN”
I figured this gem should not be overlooked. Although it’s been quite a while since this album saw the light of the day, it is still a precious gift for the last dark days of this year.
KASSEM MOSSE - “IP MIRRORS”
Let me start of by saying that the UK-bass-culture is not necessarily the style I am particularly interested in. However, with the growing number of producers that create a great new style out of techno, bass and house, there is a need for me to follow this development.
The new “Think & Change” compilation features some of the most interesting artists coming from that realm of hybrid music like - just to mention a few - Four Tet, Instra:mental and Pearson Sound. While the aforementioned drop some amazing tracks on that release, I was actually totally blown away by Kassem Mosse’s effort on that release.”IP Mirrors” is a subtle grower of hypnotic force.
MARIUS FUNK - “MF’s URDC MIX FOR P.O.P.”
It’s been a while as I have been rather taken with (musical) matters lately.
This is my latest mix for the new club P.O.P. - including tracks by Lusine, Jacques Renault, FCL and many more.
NOSAJ THING - “LIGHT 3”
A rather long time of waiting for this will soon have an end: Nosaj Thing’s highly anticipated sophomore-release “Home” is set to hit the stores as a new year’s gift. Believe me, this is musically the best start you could get for 2013 as this album is beyond amazing!

I created this mix about 2 months ago for my agency Musique Couture. So far it hasn’t been released but you get a chance to listen - tracks are by Tricky, Nicolas Jaar, Sky Ferreira and The xx.
It combines cute pop, and makes you feel all smiles - at least, I hope so.
